This is combination of three National Park Safari. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fifth-largest national park, with almost guaranteed wildlife sightings. Udzungwa Mountain National Park is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest. Ruaha NP is the largest National Park in Tanzania covering an area of 20226 square kilometers. Ruaha National Park is famous for its herds of elephant and buffaloes.

Arrival

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam — Mikumi National Park.

Depending on the arrival time at Mwalimu Nyerere Airport, you will meet by the driver guide and drive to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro town. This drive will take up to 6hrs. He will transfer you to Lodge check in. Dinner and Overnight at Mikumi Lodge. Mikumi was gazetted as a National Park in 1964 and is named after the spindle shaped Borassus palm trees. The Mkata plain supports vast herds of plains game such as wildebeest, impala, zebra and giraffe, hunted by their associated predators; while you are more likely to find elephants, buffalos, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and greater kudu in the surrounding fertile hills.

Main Destination: Mikumi National Park.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park — Full Day Game Drive

Early breakfast at the lodge, around 7:30am. Drive to Mikumi National Park for full day game safari drive with your packed lunch. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not causes damage. Enjoy the evening with a sunset dinner and overnight at Mikumi Lodge.

Day 3: Walking Safari Transfer to Udzungwa Mountain National Park & Sanje water fall.

After breakfast, start walking in this beautiful park enjoying its stunning natural beauty. Picnic lunch in the bush before exploring the area, including the wonderful Sanje waterfall, endemic Red Colobus Monkey and beautiful scenery. Known as " The Galapagos of Africa," Udzungwa mountain is home to several culturally and historically significant sites such as magombereka cave, bokela, mwanaruvele cave, ndundulu, nyumbanitu mountains and others. Experience the sunset before return at Lodge for dinner. Overnight at Mikumi Lodge.

Day 4: Udzungwa — Ruaha National Park.

Early breakfast at Mikumi Lodge. Check out and transfer to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge while enjoying the beauty flora and fauna. Lunch, dinner and overnights overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge. Ruaha National Park is the largest national park in Tanzania followed by the serengeti plain, ruaha national park is the best national park to visit during the dry season, and not advised to visit during rainy season. There are so much to see when stay inside. Big groups of elephants lions giraffes gazelle just to mention a few.

Main Destination: Ruaha National Park.

Day 5: Ruaha National Park — Full Day Game Drive.

Breakfast at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge. Full day game drive at Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival at the park you will check-in and take off on another game drive. You will explore families of elephant, as well as lion, wildebeest, zebra, hippo, crocodile, impala and a large variety of wild birds. This tour will provide you with the opportunities to take wonderful pictures to capture remarkable moment on your safari. Ruaha is the second largest elephant sanctuary in Tanzania. The great Ruaha River, which flows along its entire eastern border, creates spectacular gorges and scenery and features a large of number of hippos and crocodiles. Special animals that inhabit the park include both the greater and lesser kudu and the roan and sable antelope. Bird life is also rich, with over 370 species recorded. In the afternoon you will stop off at resting point where you will enjoy your picnic lunch and drinks and then take off to enjoy the rest of the days safari until late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge

Day 6: Ruaha National Park — Dar Es Salaam.

Breakfast at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge. Drive to Iringa town en-route to the airstrip for your flight. Fly back to Dar es Salaam.

Main Destination: Dar Es Salaam.


Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour)

End of tour
